JOHN GALLAGHER
It's all just a highly unlikely but
true story of a very lucky kid trapped in an adult's body who gets
to dream out for a living. That story started back in 1995 as
Director of Concept Art at Bioware until 2004, during their golden
age. The hit factory highlights included the entire Baldur's Gate
series, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age:
Origins. After BioWare, it was time to explore other options and
that big gamble option revealed itself as his first TV series Fear
Itself in 2007. Since relocating to Vancouver after the show, he's
worked on a wide range of projects, contributing to shows and
series such as Once Upon A Time, Falling Skies, Man in the High
Castle, The Flash, Supergirl, Percy Jackson, Dr Strange Multiverse
of Madness and many others. He’s currently writing and drawing his
first comic series, drawing Star Wars cards for Fantasy Flight
Games and several other exciting NDA projects. Most recently, he's
wrapping up on The Boys season 5 and nearest and dearest to his
heart, has teamed up with his daughter Rynn for their artcentric
podcast Knack 'n Kat, now available on all streaming platforms. In
his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends,
diving into both high culture and lowbrow kitsch with abandon,
engaging in good debate and pondering life in this shared reality
substrate.
